Lucketts, VA—It’s been a 45 year stretch with the Lucketts Fair. Join us this year for the Farewell Tour. The Fair will see it’s last in 2017 but next year the humble country fair will morph into a music festival that will carry on the Bluegrass traditions so loved at the Fair.

On this landmark year join us as we return to the good old days–come to the Lucketts Fair on August 19 and 20! The Fair is bringing back some big time favorites including sheep herding and hay wagon rides. Feel your insides rumble when the antique tractor starts up. Be charmed by walkabout entertainers, including a magician and a balloon artist. New this year a regional dairy will have a milking demonstration. Top secret sources say they will have ice cream available for sale that comes from their prize cows. There is so much more to learn and delight young, old and everyone in between.

Reading enthusiasts will meet over 15 authors in the Reader’s Garden who will talk about, sell and autograph their works. Subjects include everything from Civil War history to murder mysteries to children’s books.

In “The back field”, take a ride aboard antique tractor and let the pint-sized adventurers find their way in and out of the hay maze.

The grounds are packed with juried crafters and demonstrations, antique vendors, clogging on stage, and educational and historical displays to round out a great day in the country.

The Lucketts Fair was established 45 years ago to raise funds to save the Old School from demolition. With the building now beautifully restored, the Fair has become a beloved summertime, family friendly event which now raises funds to provide scholarships for day care and afterschool programs for Lucketts families. Funds are also used to enhance the educational programs held at the community center.

Don’t miss this premier country fair event brought to you by the hard-working volunteers of the Lucketts Community Center Advisory Board, Loudoun County Parks, Recreation and Community Services and the great community of Lucketts.
