OCH Conservation Foundation Trail Ride
Friday, October 25, 2019 at 10:00 AM | Muster Lane, The Plains, VA
Share the beautiful countryside & trails of The Orange County Hounds on a quiet, 1 ½ hour trail ride sponsored and led by the OCH Conservation Foundation (OCHCF). The purpose of the event is to provide non fox hunters the opportunity to enjoy the trails and countryside used by the Orange County Hounds in a relaxed social ride.
The OCH Conservation Foundation is a 501(c)3 organization dedicated to fostering the conservation of northern Virginia’s countryside and open space rural landscapes while supporting the sustainability of equestrian sports and an appreciation for sporting hound activities. OCHCF strives to enhance the community’s knowledge and awareness of the care needed to protect our landscapes and to provide cover and access to nourishment for the many plants, grasses and animals that share the space with us.
Contact Elizabeth Wolf at 571-217-3736 for sign-up and directions. Riders should be able to walk/trot comfortably in a group and be mounted on horses experienced in a group setting. Experienced leaders will supervise each riding group.
