WARRENTON, Virginia-The Fauquier Historical Society is hosting a walking tour of
Warrenton featuring sites related to the “Grey Ghost” John Singleton Mosby on March 12 th at
12PM at the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail. Mosby Historian and author Dave Goetz
will take participants to eight locations in Warrenton that involve Mosby and his partisan rangers
while also talking about the coming of the Civil War to the town and its occupants.
The tour will run for 1 hour and will walk along the sidewalks of Old Town Warrenton.
Comfortable shoes and clothes appropriate for the expected weather that day are recommended.
Tickets are $10 for non-member of the society, $8 for members. Tickets can be purchased by

Mosby Tour or in person at the Fauquier History Museum at the Old Jail in Warrenton. The
