Foxcroft School Welcomes Natalie Wiltshire ’95 as the New Chair of its Board of Trustees
MIDDLEBURG, VA — Foxcroft School is excited to welcome Natalie Wiltshire ’95 as the newest chair of its Board of Trustees. Wiltshire, who recently assumed the role of CEO of KIPP Philadelphia Public Schools (KPPS), a charter network serving 3,050 students, has been a Foxcroft trustee since 2016.
“Foxcroft is blessed to have Natalie’s professional expertise in school leadership and operations to lead the Board of Trustees,” says Head of School Cathy McGehee. “Furthermore, through her personal commitment to her alma mater and her service to the school that helped her succeed in college and beyond, she is an inspiration and role model to Foxcroft students and alumnae.”
A member of Foxcroft’s Class of 1995 and active alumna, Wiltshire has served on multiple committees and task forces over the years, including the Reopening of School Task Force (Pandemic Response), the Strategic Planning Task Force for the Building for Our Future Campaign, the Board of Trustees Diversity Task Force, Strategic Oversight Task Force, Committee on Trustees, and multiple roles within the Executive Committee.
“I am honored to serve as chair of the Foxcroft Board of Trustees,” shared Wiltshire. “As a student at Foxcroft, I was nurtured and challenged in a way that forged a lasting connection to the community. It is my pleasure to support the School to ensure that it will afford this experience to girls for years to come.”
Wiltshire has worked with KPPS for 14 years, first as managing director of operations and then as COO before assuming the role of CEO. Before joining KPPS, she was the director of New York Operations for Achievement First, overseeing school operations for seven academies in Brooklyn, NY, and prior to that, she served as the founding director of School Operations for Achievement First Crown Heights Charter School. Wiltshire earned her B.A. in sociology from the University of Pennsylvania and her M.A. in organizational psychology from Teachers College, Columbia University. She and her husband Larry have two sons, Hayden and Mason.
