July Events at Oatlands
On July 14 and 15, visit Oatlands for From the Front Lines to the Home Front. This special event commemorates our country’s World War I and World War II experiences with a focus on Loudoun County and Oatlands. The event will feature living history interpreters, re-enactors, exhibitors, military vehicles on display, activities for children, music and more! The event will be held rain or shine. Admission is $20 per family and $10 per individual. Admission is free for active duty personnel and all veterans (IDs required). Food and beverage concessions will be available for purchase. Free walk-through tours of the mansion. No dogs or outside food, please.
Oatlands will host Fun, Games & History Camp for rising 3rd through 6th grades July 23-27. From 9 a.m.-1:30 p.m. each day, students will have the opportunity to explore Oatlands and learn about the history of the property. Campers will also play old and new games as well as learn how to make an easy, healthy “do-it-yourself” snack each day! To register, call 703-777-3174 or email [email protected].
