Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase to spotlight Loudoun County venues and wedding professionals

Loudoun County, VA – January 2020

Visit Loudoun and FNP Events announce a new wedding event designed to connect couples to Loudoun County venues and wedding professionals. “Love Loudoun: A Wedding Showcase” will be hosted at West Belmont Place at The National Conference Center in Leesburg, VA, on March 15, 2020 from noon to 5 pm, with the first hour open to VIP ticket holders.

“The wedding industry contributes more than $118 million to Loudoun’s economy annually and continues to grow,” Visit Loudoun President and CEO Beth Erickson said. “With everything from historic settings and vineyards to modern ballrooms, Loudoun has one of the most diverse offerings of wedding venues in the D.C. region. This Wedding Showcase will give couples a chance to meet with dozens of wedding vendors all under one roof.”

The Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase will feature almost 100 wedding-related businesses to meet with couples planning their weddings. Special events and activities will include a bridal fashion show; photography sessions, selfie stations, a lounge area for recharging and relaxing, beer, wine and food tastings and immersive vendor displays. Tickets for attendees start at $10.

“We are thrilled to be working with Visit Loudoun on this new event,” said Connie Hastings, director of FNP Events. “Loudoun County is an extraordinarily beautiful area, perfect for a magical wedding, and the wedding professionals here have embraced the opportunity that the Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase presents. We look forward to providing our full event management and marketing support, and we are pleased to welcome West Belmont Place as the sponsoring venue.”

The Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase builds on Visit Loudoun’s experience hosting the Weddings in Loudoun Open House event, which was a self-guided tour of Loudoun venues where couples met and interacted with wedding professionals. Feedback from Open House participants and attendees shaped the new showcase, which is designed to be accessible to more couples and to connect them with more venues and professionals.

“The Love Loudoun Wedding Showcase gives Loudoun a chance to show what it can offer couples, and the National is pleased to be able to work with so many wedding industry colleagues in the county to put on a truly memorable experience,” said Lucy Warner, sales manager for the National Conference Center.

Although designed to spotlight Loudoun County-based wedding venues and professionals, the event is expected to draw couples and wedding decision-makers from a much broader area, including DC, northern and western Virginia, Maryland and West Virginia.
