Middleburg Academy Property: UP FOR AUCTION
On April 29 at 11:00 am ET, the live and online auction of private school, Middleburg Academy will take place. Founded in 1965, the 55-year-old school closed in June 2020. Between the increase of financial aid requests, a decline in enrollment, and the economic impact of COVID, the Board of Trustees made the tough decision to close. Originally named Notre Dame Academy, through the years, it made the transition from the original Catholic all-girls boarding school to an independent co-educational day school in 2009 when it became Middleburg Academy. During the 55 years, approximately 2,000 students graduated.
The campus is set on 89.39 acres. The two academic buildings encompass approximately 83,824 square feet. Additionally, four detached residential dwellings comprise an additional 7,407 square feet. All furniture, fixtures and equipment convey with the sale of the property.
Tranzon will conduct the live auction on the school’s grounds and simultaneously an online auction for those who are unavailable to attend in person. Additional property information can be found by downloading the Property Information Package at: www.tranzon.com/FX7342.
