After some fickle spring weather, April 21st was a perfect day for the 98th Annual Middleburg Spring Races. Brisk but not cold and with plenty of sunshine, everyone enjoyed turning out in style for this yearly tradition.Â
The tailgating was replete with tasty spreads and high spirits as the sport took center stage for the day. Horses and riders did not disappoint as the competition got underway, with some wonderful performances seen over the course of the afternoon.
