Ride to Thrive Polo Classic

The Ride to Thrive Polo Classic is Northern Virginia Therapeutic Riding Program‘s largest fundraiser of the year. The mission of NVTRP is to help each individual realize their highest potential by providing equine-assisted activities to people with disabilities, youth-at-risk, recovering military personnel, and others in need in an inclusive, community setting.

Hats speak louder than words! After the polo match, join us in the arena for a hat parade and contest sponsored by Appleton Campbell. Whether it’s store bought or do-it-yourself, wear your most dapper, dashing, and delightful hat for a chance to win a prize!

For guests with reserved railside seating, there will be a Railside Decorating Contest sponsored by Shirley’s Catering. Judging will be based on theme, style, creativity, and signature refreshments. Guests in this section may bring their own food, drinks and decor to outfit their box. If you are interested in railside seating, email polo@nvtrp.org.

Back by popular demand, the SilverStream Rosé Garden will serve regular and sparkling rosé throughout the event. In addition to the Rosé Garden, the main bar, sponsored by Barry & Alla Cline will serve beer, wine and a new signature cocktail.

The Polo Classic Kids’ Corral, sponsored by Middleburg Life will be open throughout the event, featuring crafts, games, snacks and more!

General admission tickets include all food, beverage, entertainment, parking and open seating. Children 12 and under receive free admission. Email polo@nvtrp.org for information about reserved seating options.
