The Market Side Door: Delivery & Takeout

The Market at Bluewater Kitchen pivots by providing curbside pickup and delivery this January, in lieu of unexpected storefront shutdown.

UPPERVILLE, VA — The Market at Bluewater Kitchen opens its “side door” to kick off 2024, with curbside pickup and delivery of their signature hot menu and quick order catering.

Starting January 2, the Market storefront will be temporarily shutting down for substantial unforeseen structural repairs due to prolonged water exposure from underneath the historic property. In response, the Market team has developed the “Side Door,” a new method for offering their menus to the community through curbside pickup and delivery. Adding to the Market’s classic hot order menu, they will be offering tacos from their sister company, Bluewater Cocina, throughout the winter months while the outdoor establishment is closed, plus continuing both quick order and full service catering.

To minimize loss and product waste, the Market is hosting a close out sale with 25% off all retail products, including alcohol, from now through the end of 2023. Everything must go! Christmas and holiday pre-orders are still taking place, and the Market urges you to order your holiday meal online at themarketatbluewaterkitchen.com/holiday by December 20, at 5 p.m., for pickup on Christmas Eve, December 24.

Owner Christina Kazmierski leans toward the surrounding community during these hard times, stating, “Having to unexpectedly close for two to three months and facing potential loss of staff amongst other challenges with the business is heartbreaking and, honestly, scary. More than ever we would appreciate the community rallying around us during this tough time, so we can continue providing them with great food and service.”
