Wakefield School Open House
If you are searching for a content-rich, liberal arts school where your child will be encouraged to discover his/her passions, make meaningful commitments, and realize his/her full potential, then come learn about the education Wakefield offers at our Open House on April 21 at 8AM.
What is Wakefield all about?
Wakefield is a JK-12 college preparatory school providing a classical liberal arts education within the context of today’s world. The school is located on a beautiful, 60-acre campus overlooking the rolling countryside of The Plains, VA. Students receive an individualized learning experience which results in articulate, confident, and ethical individuals primed for future success in their academic and professional lives.
Why do parents love Wakefield?
“The small class size, talented teachers and strong learning support program have given my children the tools to be academically successful in an environment where they do not feel different because of their learning disability (Dyslexia). I am so thankful that I found the perfect school for my children.”
“My wife and I raised our granddaughter. My wife was a teacher and asked her fellow teachers where the best K-12 school was in the local area – they all told us Wakefield. We moved from Reston to send our granddaughter to Wakefield. It was the best move we made in our married life together! She attended Wakefield from 1-12 and now is a senior at George Mason University, very happy and well prepared for life.”
“I have two boys, each with a very different learning style, and Wakefield caters to both of them. That was one of my primary reasons for choosing this school. They have grown into well-adjusted, well-rounded teenage boys, and I owe that to the character development at Wakefield.”
“The sports program at Wakefield has allowed my middle school children the opportunity to develop skills in many different sports with the help of quality coaching.”
Why do we love our campus?
“I love working on a beautiful campus where I can watch the squirrels play outside my window, take the students on peaceful nature walks, and see the rolling countryside for miles.”
“I like how we have different buildings so we can walk outside and enjoy the nature, and get fresh air when we are in between classes.”
Wakefield is committed to making the advantages of a first-rate independent school available to, and more affordable for, all. This is why we offer a flexible tuition to students whose families apply and demonstrate a financial need. Come question our student panel, meet our faculty and staff, explore our campus, and learn more about Indexed Tuition at our next Open House on April 21 at 8AM.
