Wheatland Farm and the Faith and Family Foundation Announce 15th Annual Gala Dinner
November 18, 2019 – Purcellville, VA
The Faith and Family Foundation and Wheatland Farm are delighted to announce the 15th Annual Gala Dinner will be held Saturday, December 7th, 2019 at the Salamander Resort & Spa in Middleburg, Virginia.
The annual event raises funds and awareness to support Wheatland Farm’s adaptive sport and resource programming for children and adults with special needs at its Purcellville campus.
For the second year, the dinner will be hosted at Salamander, the Forbes Five Star Salamander Resort & Spa. This fabulous gala event will feature an elegant dinner, live and silent auctions, guest speakers, and entertainment by Irish tenor Mark Forrest. This is also the annual Christmas in Middleburg weekend with parades and many other special events planned.
Wheatland Gala event organizers are pleased to welcome equestrian stars and guest speakers Boyd and Silva Martin. Born in Australia to Olympic athlete parents, Boyd Martin is a world renowned U.S. Olympic Event rider. Silva Martin is a top equestrian in her own right, having competed on U.S. Nation’s Cup dressage teams and currently riding and coaching at the international level in dressage. Silva Martin also overcame a traumatic brain injury several years ago to return to top level sport, and today she coaches several Para-equestrian Dressage riders.
All funds raised at the 2019 Wheatland Farm Gala Dinner will go directly to providing inclusive, adaptive sport and recreation for children and adults with disabilities and their families.
